Who are we?
We are CodeHero, a part of TechPort Canada, an IT services, training & consulting company borne out of passion for kids and bringing out the best in them. CodeHero helps to train kids from ages 7-17years in developing coding skills and building their own personal computer.
How is CodeHero different from others?
We are a complete Technology solutions company for kids, teens and young adults focused on training and channeling their strengths towards being Technology heros. Our curriculum not only cover core coding concepts but it also teaches how to build a complete Computer System from scratch thus giving our scholars and trainees full control over both hardware and software. Our courses are a mix of students-first approach, instructor-led, fully hands-on and project-based learning with a choice of in-person, full online or hybrid learning in scratch programming, python development, mobile/web application and website/computer building. Thus forming the most effective approach to kids learning.
What Courses are Available? Is PyCoders a course?
• Scratchers - Young creatives, ages 7-9 years focused on developing visual based programs with Scratch
• LeBuilders - Young talents ages 10-17 years focused on building Personal Computers for their personal use.
• PyRangers - Young talents ages 10-13 years focused on developing software applications with Python Programming Language
• PyAvengers - Young talents ages 14-17 years focused on developing software applications with Python Programming Language
• PyCoders - This is not a specific course but groups together PyRangers and PyAvengers. Young talents ages 10-17 years focused on developing software applications with Python Programming Language
• ProEditors - Young Talents ages 12-17years focused on creating and editing multimedia videos and contents
• GraphicsPro - Young Talents ages 12-17 years focused on creating and editing graphic designs
• Web Development - Young talents ages 10-13 learning the foundations of the website development with HTML, CSS, and beginner-friendly JavaScript.
• Mobile App Development - This is an associate developer course for ages 14-17yrs who already has some mastery in coding with object oriented programming like java or python, learning to build real mobile apps using beginner-friendly tools and frameworks
Any Commute needed to join class?
We offer different modes of learning.
Our in-person classes are held in our office @ 9 Gurdwara road, Suite 120, Nepean, ON K2E 7X6
Our fully remote learning do not require any commute time or driving, all you need do is Log in from the comfort of your home and a live teacher will be securely connected with you in a virtual online classroom.
Our hybrid mode of learning affords you the flexibility of running some classes online and some others fully remote. This flexibility stands CodeHero out!!
Give Specific Details about LeBuilders. Any commute required?
This will be about 12hour session.
First month will be one hour per week of four weeks for virtual training totaling 4 hours.
In the Second month, there will be Instructor led class room classes and post build support.
About 6-8hours will be for a physical class for handson practical building and assembling computer parts into a fully functional computer system.
We have locations for the physical classes all over Canada, United States, Asia and Africa.
Do you offer in-person classes, or are lessons only online?
Yes, CodeHero offers both online and in-person classes.
Our in-person sessions provide a hands-on, interactive learning experience where kids can learn, build, and collaborate in a structured classroom environment with expert instructors. For families who prefer flexibility, our online classes deliver the same high-quality curriculum, live instruction, and guided support, accessible from anywhere.
This hybrid approach ensures every child can learn in the way that works best for them.
Will any certificate be issued to trainees?
Yes! Each coding course is level based tagged Basic, Intermediate & Advanced Stages.
Every stage consists of 2 modules and each module runs for 12weeks. At the end of each module, there are modular exams conducted and at the end of the 2 modules i.e end of the stage, a stage project is assigned and completed. Upon completion of all modular exams, stage project and each trainee must have attained minimum 75% attendance to be issued a completion and competence certificate.
What is the Cost of Training?
Each course costs $200, paid monthly for the duration of the Courses.
Can my child cope with zero coding or computer hardware experience?
Yes, all our trainings assume no prior knowledge. This helps every trainee have a well grounded knowledge of the concepts taught.
Can my child with some coding knowledge join a higher course?
Yes However, a placement test will be conducted and based on his/her performance, we will advise on the best level to start irrespective of age.
It is also pertinent to state that our courses are age-grouped thus making it easy to place your child.
